'Tucson Valley Of The Moon'
Tucson
'Valley Of The Moon' in
Tucson Arizona
is an enchanted historic magical
fairyland
promoting kindness and
imagination
in and for all who enter.
What began as the purchase of
two and a half [2.5] acres
of undeveloped caliche hillside land of two
[2] adjoining
parcels on Allen Road in the Drakes Addition to Pima
County by Mrs. Felix B. Legler on March 24, 1919
from Mr.
W.B. & Mrs. M.V.F. Miller,

later followed into at times wide scale
construction using
a steam shovel,
simple hand tools, picks and shovels,
wheel barrows,
along with horse and mule
team drawn wagons during the 1920s until
a fateful day
Tucson
Valley Of The Moon
had
its official opening
in 1932.

At
that 1932 opening George Phar Legler
through his creation of the
'Tucson Valley Of The Moon'
began offering truly amazing varieties
of
wonderous experiences that included
tours, magic shows, presentations,
scientific and metaphysical seminars,
theatrical staged and numerous other
unique performances, educational
experiences, random acts of kindness,
along with
many various forms of both
private and public events for the many
thousands visiting there.

The property was added to in size with an additional
land purchase of adjoining
land by George P. Legler
'a married man' on January 16, 1935
from
J.W. Angle and Beulah L. Angle 'husband and wife'
continuing the unique concept
that was the visualized,
designed, crafted-artist created, live
performance
magical environment called Tucson
Valley Of The Moon.
On October 10, 1945
George Phar Legler
donated/gifted the 'Valley Of The Moon' property

to the 'Valley Of The Moon Memorial Association'
a 501(c)3 nonprofit
Arizona Corporation Legler had
formed in Arizona that year to help preserve the
Valley
Of The
Moon property and its focused goals
of:
"Fostering
tolerance and brotherly love
for all of humankind,
regardless of their
race,
creed, or their color."
